Woodland as a company originally evolved from a design practice when John West our founder, saw how the traditional box sash window could be improved by the application of modern production techniques and innovative design.
John's concept was to develop a window which would incorporate modernity and yet still maintain the grace and elegance of the traditional box sash window. Today this simple combination of modern design and traditional craftsmanship remains at the core of everything we do, and has enabled us to develop an accompanying range of casement windows and French doors which compliment the traditional box sash window perfectly.
Woodland is a family run business which has specialized in the manufacture of traditional timber windows and doors for over 30 years.
Based in Kingston Upon Thames, Woodland employs local craftsmen with the skills necessary to make and install our range of products, which we believe is unsurpassed.
As the company has developed and progressed in the level of expertise over a 30 year period, the work capacity and demand on our craftsmen has increased immensely.
With more and more enquiries coming from the commercial sector, we looked to Europe, for a manufacturing company which embraces all of our concerns, demands and ethics and which provides us with a premium product.
With the capacity of the Polish production facility at our disposal, we can provide quality windows on a large scale. The company is targeting the commercial sector and is geared to the requirements of mass production and quality products. The domestic and small order market remains with the parent company Woodland Product Design Ltd.
